ALL OF YOUR FRAMING QUESTIONS ANSWERED!

'The Adler frame features a slim, modern rectangular profile. Play with scale by grouping with other sizes and finishes in the Adler range' - Country Road Recently I have been asked by a number of customers to recommend frames for prints they have recently purchased from the 'In Full Bloom' Collection. After trying and testing a number of different options, here is a run down of my favourites!  The Country Road 'Alder Frame' is my favourite option, if you are not wanting to pay the extra money to have it framed professionally. Don't get me wrong, the result from professional framing is something you can't beat - however, as a lot of customers have expressed they are buying the prints as gifts,...

An Arch Obsession - By Quincoces-Dragò

Recently I have been dreaming up what I would like my forever home to look like. Lets start with the fact that I change my favourite colour daily, and although I would say I have a strong sense of personal style, I'm not quite sure that I'm at the stage where I could arrange a colour palette, furniture and finishings into a home with confidence that I wouldn't turn around in a years time and regret my decisions! So, recently I have been gathering inspiration of interiors that I love and making points about why I love them. It has been a great little project of discovery for me, as I am able to reflect and draw parallels and similarities...

The Apartment by The Line Pt. II

For those that have followed my design journey for a while now, would have picked up on my constant shift in style. With that in mind, years later, I still find myself lusting over The Line, and the relaxed luxury vibe that it extrudes. It's a monochromatic haven, full of textures, metallics and mixed materials that I can't see myself falling out of love with anytime soon. I have always been a big advocate of a minimalist interior, with clean lines, warm palettes that can take you from season to season, and a touch of colour in items that can easily be replaced as your style shifts.   The Apartment by The Line Pt. II in Los Angeles, founded by...

My Creative Space: Winter Edition

I welcomed Eden from De Fleur into my studio space recently to capture it in it's Winter state.  Ever wondered what the inside of the Olympia studio looks like in the colder months of the year? Pair it back and strip it from colour and florals, and there you have it. Maybe add a few too many cups of coffee, tea, milo and it's getting more accurate.  As a creative, the space I work in has a considerable impact on my productivity, my creative flow of ideas and my mood, so it is really important for me to change up my space season to season. For me in the Winter months it's all about making my space feel clean and...

Olympia x Mobilia

Mobilia is about the true nature of great design and continues to bring the world best in design to Perth in their beautiful Claremont showroom. Whilst I have had my eye on a few of their iconic chairs for sometime now, they currently remain on my ever-growing interior wishlist. A feature chair can be the focal point of a space, and stand as a work of art, but my love for these chairs is more than aesthetic beauty. Form over function gets me every time and as a designer I am inclined to go for something that I like the look of regardless of how practical or comfortable it is, whilst my husband remains at the other end of the...

My Creative Space: Spring Edition

I welcomed Lulu from Aesthete Collective into my studio space recently as part of her 'Creative Spaces' series, and as an avid follower of her photography I was really interested to see the angle she would take with it.  So ever wondered what the inside of the Olympia studio looks like? Well here is your opportunity to take a tour of what is somewhat an accurate portrayal of my space at the best of times. In peak season however, Lulu would have struggled to find a place to put both of her feet if I'm going to be honest about it. As a creative, the space I work in has a considerable impact on my productivity, my creative flow of ideas and...
