DESTINATION BRIDE SERIES - WITH PAULINA

On the largest of Greece's Dodecanese Islands, known for it's beach resorts and ancient ruins, Rhodes became the breathtaking backdrop for the most intimate and beautiful exchanging of vows and celebration of Paulina & Stasi. Guests sat amidst a long table that lined 19 meters of florals flown in from Amsterdam, and as the sun set against the horizon at Ktima Lindos the night sky was filled with twinkling lights, surprise fireworks and a shake up from an earthquake on a nearby island. We chat to Paulina, an Event Coordinator who knew from day one she wanted to be her own wedding planner despite the distance! DESTINATION: RHODES ISLAND, GREECE WAS A DESTINATION WEDDING ALWAYS THE PLAN?  No, it wasn't the...

2 Years: Basil & Olivia's Santorini Wedding Video

"And I'd choose you; in a hundred lifetimes, in a hundred worlds, in any version of reality, I'd find you and I'd choose you." - The Chaos of Stars Two years ago on this morning, I woke up as Basil's wife. For the first year I found it really strange introducing or talking about Basil as my 'husband' and would instead opt to use his name instead, regardless of if the person knew who he was or not. Honestly, I think people usually had "who the heck is Basil" running through their head. Now, it feels so natural and I can't believe how quickly two years has flown by.  As a little girl I always looked up to my parents and...

ENVELOPES BY OLYMPIA: AS SEEN IN VOGUE BRIDE 2017

Inspired by my own experience as a bride, two and a half years ago (it's crazy how time flies!) I saw a gap in the market for stationery and styling that was a reflection of personal style, rather than what the industry had deemed 'typically' bridal. With a Bachelor of Arts (Graphic Design), five years of teaching the same Degree at Curtin University and two years visual merchandising for Australia's leading tea merchant T2, I had developed a pretty strong eye for the unusual, the sophisticated and the unexpected. Drawing inspiration from my love of graphic design, interiors, florals and fashion I planned our wedding, with the amazing help of my now husband - Basil, my Mum & Dad and...
